Founded in 2016 by Melissa Berger, Gorgeous Digs was the result of years of passion for interior design. After receiving an Associate's Degree in Art from Brazosport College in 1999 and briefly starting her first business, "Decorating on a Dime," she took a pause for several years to raise two children, Athena and Tristan, with her husband, Mike.

With both children out of the house, Melissa became a certified real estate agent in 2009, working for Keller Williams Realty until 2015 and then Better Homes and Gardens Realty until 2016, when Gorgeous Digs was started.

With her extensive knowledge and field experience, she received her Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) certification in 2016, going on to physically stage houses on the market for the next two years. During this time, Melissa was contracted as an independent interior designer by Wayfair, an online furniture and decorating company, to provide expertise and advice for clients looking to take on their own design projects. In 2018, Gorgeous Digs became mostly digital, moving away from traditional staging and into virtual concepts.

 

Since then, Melissa has been providing detailed and amazing services to both the real estate community and anyone wanting to DIY renovate their own home. Her experience, passion, and dedication are evident in her projects, and make for wonderfully transformed spaces.
